Abington Friends School
Justice, Faith, Hope, and Peace (Interim report, 4/08) Our project is still in process due to the scope of it. We have allowed it to change and grow, although our final product—a large tile mural, remains the same. This year, the school selected the Quaker Testimony of Equality and Social Justice for a school-wide theme. We have presented many conversations and experiences around this theme, and we have included the words "Justice, Hope, Faith and Peace" in our work in honor of Joe Overstreet's artwork that first inspired our project idea. —Donna Haines and Jeanne Quarles |
