Westtown School, a PK- 12 Quaker college preparatory day and boarding school of 695 students located on a 600 acre campus in West Chester, PA, is seeking a seasonal, part-time Financial Aid Analyst who will report to the Dean of Enrollment Management. This position’s hours will be 10-20 per week from December 15 through February 28. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of federal tax forms, and excellent communication skills.
The primary responsibility of this position is to recommend financial aid award amounts to the Dean of Enrollment Management. Key steps in this process include:
1) Reviewing financial aid applications for accuracy and completeness,
2) Identifying issues that require additional review, and
3) Resolving as many of these as possible.
Required skills include but are not limited to:
In-depth knowledge of federal income tax forms
Excellent telephone and email communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information
Careful attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Discretion in handling confidential information
