Employment Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Middle School Library Assistant to begin late August 2019. The Library Assistant works closely with the Middle School Librarian, supporting students and teachers, and ensuring that the Library is a welcoming place for all. This position requires a degree of independence and initiative and a willingness to actively support a busy, young adult library.

Primary Responsibilities: ● Provide oversight of the Middle School library ● Supervise and assist students ● Check out materials and equipment ● Provide support for equipment, including: iPads, Chromebooks, laptops, and AV equipment ● Shelve books when they are returned ● Oversee database renewals and record keeping for all three divisional libraries ● Maintain usage statistics for library databases ● Support inventory and weeding processes ● Secure the library space at the end of the day ● Other duties as assigned
