Quaker Values and Social Justice - Quaker Life in Lower and Middle School Peer Network

Quaker Life in Lower & Middle Schools is thriving! Educators from Abington Friends School, Brooklyn Friends School, Friends’ Central School, Germantown Friends School, Lansdowne Friends School, New Garden Friends School, Princeton Friends Summer Camp, Westfield Friends School, and Westtown Friends School came together to talk about Quaker Values & Social Justice. This workshop was Not "sit & git" sessions, but "give & get" as one facilitator says. . . The success of Friends Council on Education peer networks depends upon group members serving as resources to each other. As part of the workshop educators engaged in a hands-on activity of creating a peace tree, something they can take back and try with their students.
