Diversity Education In Nature

The Earth as a Role Model for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.

Friends Council on Education is hosting a Diversity Education In Nature (DEIN) workshop led by Camille Simone Edwards, Director of Student Affairs at Friends Academy, and Dan Kriesberg, former Middle School Science Teacher at Friends Academy. The DEIN program uses outdoor education as an interactive classroom for teaching people of all ages how to build more equitable and inclusive human ecosystems.
