A collaboration of Friends Council, the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, and Westtown School, this program, focused on teachers with 8+ years of experience, is a transformative experience for seasoned teachers seeking growth and renewal in their teaching practice.

The goals of this program include:

  • Providing a retreat for veteran educators to restore and nourish their commitment to the teaching life
  • Using the pastoral setting of Westtown as a place that is restorative to the soul
  • Creating a cohort that remains committed and supportive beyond the program

The daily themes of this program are:

9:15-10:45am - Workshop Session Two
11:00-11:45am - Lunch
12:00-2:00pm - Workshop Session Three
2:15-4:00pm - Workshop Session Four
4:00-5:00pm - Free Time
5:00-5:50pm - Dinner
6:00-8:00pm - Keynote Film Screening & Discussion Session Five

All participants are requested to remain in community at Westtown for the duration of the program. Each participant will have an individual room.

An endorsement from the Head of School or an Academic Supervisor is required and will be emailed to you in your application confirmation email.
