Librarians Peer Network

Commune, retreat, and refresh with your peers in Friends librarianship

It's time to revive this group!

What does it mean to be a Quaker school librarian?

Our volunteer facilitators has planned a wonderful gathering to kick-off a revival meeting of the Librarians Peer Network, hosted at the Sidwell Friends School, in Washington DC.

The day will begin with breakfast and gathering time. It then moves to a presentation and discussion led by Sara Kelley-Mudie around the intersections of generative AI, Quaker SPICES, and information literacy [see info below]. After lunch, the facilitators designed breakout groups and discussions around the query: what does it mean to be a Quaker school librarian?

We hope this gathering will give you time to commune, retreat, and refresh with your peers in Friends librarianship.
