Welcome New Heads of Friends Schools in 2026-2027

Welcome New Heads - 2026-2027

Friends Council welcomes a remarkable group of new heads/directors to the Friends school network. Some are new to headship; some are new to headship in a Friends school setting. Each brings a distinct story, a well of curiosity, a passion for the development of young people, and a commitment to an intentional school community.

As you read these brief bios, you will meet people who have launched schools, designed curricula, led divisions, built programs, and shaped communities in ways that reflect both imagination and care. Some have spent decades steeped in Quaker education while others have stepped into this tradition with a strong desire to lead communities where Quaker principles and practices are lived.

Friends Council looks forward to learning from each person and supporting their leadership. Please reach out, say hello, and help weave them into our shared work.
